 Two Dreams About Woodcliff Lake

I'm at this house on Glen Road that I'd been to in 1978/1979. A sort of modern wooden affair with oblique angles straight out of Marin, CA. - floor to ceiling  windows overlooking a hardwood deck and dense woods. I'm outside looking into the dark woods. Night w/the feeling of hunters, the hunt, gunshots clear n' crist. Out of night's shadows, right in front of me, comes Yama, The Tibetan Lord of Death usually depicted as bull headed, this time he has the head of a huge stag, red and dripping saliva w/ fresh blood. Enormous.  He lets out a deafening howl blowing me back several feet.  I get my stance back and yell at him "I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU! LEAVE HERE NOW!"  Eyes registering shock, taken aback, he retreats from where he came. I hear his footsteps breaking twigs, crunching leaves. The feel of hunters, the hunt, gun shots.

Princeton Court, in front of the house I first tripped at. Standing at a sewer, looking down. All of the sudden a large three headed cobra wearing a human skull headdress emerges and looks at me. As I'm contemplating its sudden appearance, a bumble bee buzzes around my head, followed by a swarm causing me to run the up the street and miss my chance with the three headed cobra.

(I had this dream sometime in 2011/2012 when I was really into the teachings of Rudrananda aka Albert Rudolph (1928-1973) - an American businessman from Brooklyn who became enlightened on a business trip to india who taught in NYC & set up an ashram in Big Indian NY. He was known for awakening Kundalini with a touch of his hand. Seemingly out of nowhere, I'd become infatuated with Rudi as I meditated one Saturday morning in June 2011.  Then Rudi showed up everywhere... I made several pilgrimages to the long abandoned ashram on Lost Clove Rd. in Big Indian, NY, north of Woodstock.  I watched The Rudi Movie many times and read John Mann's 14 Years With My Teacher. He entered my spirit. Rudi was a fiery aspect of Lord Shiva and when you stood in front of the dilapidated ashram the air literally buzzed & crackled with energy, you could feel it. Lord Shiva wears a cobra snake 'round his neck and Kundalini is often referred to as a snake. Rudi was also playfully referred to as Captain Kundalini.  Go figure.)
